This article is intended to discuss the pros and cons of Kindle Paperwhite 10th Generation based on my research and personal experience after using one for about a month.

Note: In the rest of the article, the term Kindle refers to Kindle Paperwhite (10th gen).

Why did I decide to buy a kindle?

I had been hankering to purchase a Kindle for a really long time and once I graduated university, I decided now is the time. But in the back of my mind, I always had this question, “Do I actually need one?” because during my days at the university I always had preferred printed copies over e-books. Reading e-books on my laptop worsened the eye strain I had at that time because of staring at the laptop screen for a very long time (which is very common for any computer science student 😄). But I had two main problems with printed books:

  1. It was really hard to carry them (especially if they were heavy or I needed to carry many of them)
  2. It took a lot of time to find the books that I wanted
